HRG Names New CFO and COO

2020 was a year of challenges and changes for organizations of all types, and the healthcare industry was no exception. As many companies continue to struggle during the pandemic, HRG has taken these challenges and turned them into opportunities. Greg West, HRG’s President, announced two internal high-level promotions this week.

HRG’s long-time CFO, Kris Ditzler, joined her husband in retirement in 2020 and while this could have caused uncertainty and upheaval, HRG was fortunate to have a Vice President of Finance prepared for growth. Mark Bell stepped into Kris’ shoes and has done extremely well, earning his move from Vice President of Finance to Chief Financial Officer. Under Kris’ mentorship, Mark gained the knowledge and skills needed to be successful in this position. His continued leadership and guidance assured that HRG stayed financially stable throughout the pandemic showing that he is more than ready and capable of being the CFO, seizing a bright future for HRG.

In the beginning days of COVID, Jason Coffin, then the Executive VP of Operations, was the first to take action to ensure HRG moved quickly to transition their corporate headquarters to a fully remote workforce.  Throughout the remainder of 2020, Jason acquired additional responsibilities in HRG’s operations. Already leading the Patient Financial Services departments, he took on the Health Information Management department as well as the Data Control, and Training divisions.  Jason has shown excellent leadership before, during, and now as HRG emerges from the pandemic, thus worthy of his new position as Chief Operating Officer. His leadership is a major reason that HRG survived during the pandemic and why they continue to see major growth and client results.
